Norwell, MA – (July 23, 2015) – SIGNET Electronic Systems, Inc., the largest privately held systems integrator in New England, receives another perfect score on its DCAMM contractor evaluation from the Woburn Police Department.
During the fall of 2012, the Woburn Police Department planned a renovation of their aging dispatch center. During the planning stage of the construction project, the Woburn Police Department identified that their antiquated access control and CCTV systems should also be upgraded.
While an architect had been hired to design the renovation of the dispatch center, the Woburn Police Department did not have a security engineer on board to advise on upgrades to the security system. They needed recommendations not only on security solutions that would best fit their requirements, but also a reliable contractor to furnish and install the proposed solution in what had become a tight timeframe.
SIGNET Electronic Systems, Inc., by referencing expertise gained through completed police department projects and leveraging 40+ years in the security industry, was able to efficiently design and propose a suitable security system upgrade for the Woburn Police Department. Through State Contract FAC64 for Security, Surveillance, Monitoring and Access Control, the Woburn Police Department hired SIGNET to furnish and install the industry leading fully integrated access control and CCTV system, Genetec Security Center. SIGNET worked diligently with the general contractor and client to successfully install new high definition IP cameras, access control hardware, and viewing workstations within the new dispatch center. The project was completed on time and to high praises by the Woburn Police Department staff.
SIGNET’s first-rate performance in all areas of the project recently garnered a perfect 10 score on the project DCAMM evaluation.
