Norwell, MA – (December 18, 2014) – SIGNET Electronic Systems, Inc. has been awarded the multi-year Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC) Contract MC14-B11 for Multi-Media Equipment and Services. The contract allows New England educational organizations who are members of MHEC to more directly and cost-efficiently access SIGNET’s equipment and services related to multi-media, audio, video and more.

“We are honored to add this particular MHEC Contract to our library of special contracts. It’s a great achievement requiring an extensive qualification process,” says Brad Caron, President of SIGNET.
“These types of contracts allow us to help eliminate an otherwise costly bidding process for participating members. The result is that we’re able to deliver our equipment and services faster and more cost- effectively.”

MHEC membership is now available to all not-for-profit public and private institutions of higher education, municipalities including elementary, secondary schools, technical, vocational and charter school as well as other educational organizations throughout Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. According to MHEC, member schools have access to more than 55 contracted suppliers with more than 500 supply partners including global, national and small, minority and women-owned businesses.
