Norwell, MA – (February 28, 2012) – SIGNET Electronic Systems, Inc. has been named by National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) as the winner of their 2012 Excellence in Business Award for Professional Development. The honor was awarded based on the impressive certification incentive program which SIGNET offers its employees to motivate them to attain certifications in each of the company’s four disciplines—life safety, communications, security and A/V.
According to NSCA,
“SIGNET’s bonus program motivates and rewards employees to earn and maintain certifications by reimbursing employees for the cost of learning materials, exams, studying on company time, and the costs associated with maintaining the certifications.”
The program results in SIGNET having the widest range of certifications of any integrator in the country, and therefore, a first-rate professional development standard.
In turn, Bradford S. Caron, President and Owner of SIGNET and a recipient of an Excellence in Business Award in prior years, acknowledged the role often played by NSCA and their Business and Leadership Conference (BLC) during which the award winners are recognized.
“Over the past several years, our industry has become more professional in part as a direct result of NSCA’s efforts and the BLC.”
NSCA’s Excellence in Business Awards are awarded to self- or peer-nominated systems integrators based on their exemplary and successful business strategies—in particular, to those who “adapt, evolve and compete to achieve excellence.”
