May 2011: One in four people in Massachusetts has doctor-diagnosed “arthritis.” This group spans all ages, genders and races. Arthritis is an umbrella term used to group more than 100 inflammatory medical conditions. Each arthritis sufferer can gain a wealth of knowledge regarding arthritis treatment, care and prevention from the Arthritis Foundation.
On Sunday, May 15th, a team of SIGNET employees, friends, pets and family participated in the walk to help the fight against arthritis. Once again, Stephen’s Field in Plymouth, MAwas the location for opening ceremonies and post-walk festivities. Bringing awareness and encouraging people to move to prevent and treat arthritis was a key objective to this walking event. SIGNET’s involvement in past years has been exemplary.
